#VietnamVeteran. "I fought in Vietnam from 1965 to 1968. After the war, I could not sleep, I had nightmares, a feeling of guilt. Then the Memorial Wall was built in DC, not far from where I live. It took me ten years before I could come to the Wall. A lot of people I fought with have their names written on this section of the wall. Since then, I have come twice a year to speak with them. It helps me. #NameRubbing "My father fought in Vietnam. He tried to come to the Memorial Wall, but after a few steps along the wall, he turned back. It was to hard for him to see the names of 58,000 fallen soldiers. Now he suffers from cancer, a cancer due to Agent Orange, an herbicide used during the Vietnam War. He asked me to go to the Wall for him and rub the name of his comrade on a piece of paper." Alana sent the picture to her father.
