Oklahoma City : pèlerinage au mémorial du dévastateur attentat de 1995

View this post on Instagram

#FieldofChairs. Oklahoma City bombing, 19th of April, 1995. A federal building blown up. A chair symbolizes each casualty and where he/she was located in the building. Heartbreaking to see 168 chairs. Especially the 19 smaller chairs for the children who were in the building's day care center. However tragic the event was, the memorial is very peaceful. And beautiful at night. A great invitation to #neverforget #americanpilgrimages #PelerinagesAmericains #oklahoma #oklahomacity #oklahomacitybombing #okc #okcbombing #okcmemorial #okcnm #bombingmemorial #nofilter

2 📸. #TeddyBears 🐻 are brought by pilgrims to pay tribute to the 19 kids killed in Oklahoma City bombing. They are left at a memorial fence, alongside hundreds of mementos. When I saw this cute little girl with her own Teddy Bear at the memorial, I understood what it meant. She was with her mother, who did not want to forget what happened here. When I asked the girl: "Do you know what happened here", she could not answer. And it's surely better like this. #TheFence #americanpilgrimages #PelerinagesAmericains #oklahoma #oklahomacity #oklahomacitybombing #okc #okcbombing #okcmemorial #okcmuseum #okcnm #bombingmemorial #neverforget #FieldofChairs #nofilter #teddybear
